📋 Description

• Provide design support to develop tracker layouts, CAD blocks, mechanical sets, and full construction plan sets • Review pertinent site information and design inputs, and assist in selecting appropriate product types based on site conditions • Work with a team of engineers updating product configurations and drafting standards, and potentially develop automation procedures • Conduct value engineering exercises to lower costs on individual projects • Coordinate with designers in other regions to create and update product standards, design changes, and project-related issues • Prioritize tasks to provide the best support to internal and external customers • Manage day-to-day issues on commercial and utility-scale PV projects from development through construction support • Support project quoting and execution phases through design and engineering decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Associates degree in related field at minimum • BS in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering preferred • Thorough knowledge of drafting standards • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD • Strong organizational skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated team player • Fluent oral and written communication in English and Spanish • Experience in AutoCAD Civil a plus • Knowledge of construction sheet sets and project design of PV plants a plus • Passion for solar a plus
