📋 Description

• Prepare shipment documentation and commercial invoices; ensure complete broker and carrier documentation is centrally stored • Apply approved HTS classifications and country-of-origin determinations across shipment processes and systems • Manage customs broker relationships, coordinate clearance, and review broker performance • Monitor duties within landed shipping costs and file claims when errors are found • Resolve routine customs queries and ensure accurate import and export declarations • Own the duty drawback program, coordinating with Livingstone and preparing and validating claims • Monitor and maintain compliance of the US import bond • Partner with manufacturers, initially in India, to support compliant and duty-efficient shipping • Identify duty-saving opportunities through relevant free trade agreements • Build trade compliance processes for expansion into new duty-liable markets and escalate complex questions to Legal & Compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in global trade compliance or customs operations, specifically involving US, UK, and EU imports/exports • 7+ years of experience in import/export customs compliance • Direct experience managing customs broker relationships and high-volume shipment documentation • Experience filing duty drawback or tariff reclaim claims • Ability to work as an individual contributor with real autonomy • Detail-oriented and process-minded approach • Based in the EU or UK, with flexibility to work across time zones • Strong stakeholder management skills with brokers, carriers, manufacturers, Legal, Fulfilment, and Ops teams • Commercial mindset connecting compliance work to cost savings and business impact • Application and CV must be submitted in English
