📋 Description

• Defining and owning the security strategy for engaging with various platform engineering teams across the organization • Developing trusted relationships with leaders and program management teams to understand their roadmaps • Executing on roadmap for delivering security controls • Helping identify and execute on opportunities to reduce information security risk • Partnering with compliance stakeholders to help maintain Akamai's myriad compliance certifications • Supporting subject matter experts in commuting security requirements and strategy across the organization • Providing strategic leadership on the internal adoption of Akamai's commercial security product offerings

🎯 Requirements

• Have relevant experience and a Bachelor diploma or its equivalent • Have experience partnering with engineering orgs to integrate security into both commercial off the shelf as well as bespoke internally developed platforms and services • Have a proven track record in managing a technical team • Understand security fundamentals and the role of security in the delivery of cloud platforms and services • Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to contribute to the security of Akamai's systems • Use your technical background in internet-, security-, and cryptographic protocols to guide your team • Possess the ability to build partnerships with and communicate issues to senior technical leaders and business stakeholders.
