📋 Description

• Build and lead a new team of engineers • Build a portfolio of services focused on automation, observability, and identity management • Formulate an execution strategy and roadmap for delivery of the new service portfolio • Coordinate with a cross-functional product team including architects, testers, customer support, and operations • Work with management to identify risks, solve problems, and maintain progress • Hire and onboard new team members as needed • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team environment • Create reliable, scalable, secure, enterprise-grade products • Handle day-to-day management tasks including 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and coaching/mentoring

🎯 Requirements

• 10 or more years of relevant software engineering experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent • 3 or more years of experience managing a software development team using either Python or Go • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud technologies • Knowledge of software development practices including Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and automated testing • Experience with tools such as GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
