📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire implementations • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter • Validate Guidewire configurations, product model changes, workflow logic, and integration touchpoints against acceptance criteria • Collaborate with Guidewire business analysts and developers to ensure requirements are testable and defects are actionable • Log, track, and communicate defects through the full defect lifecycle using Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives • Support user acceptance testing by coordinating with business stakeholders, preparing test environments, and facilitating sign-off • Contribute to test automation efforts, including developing or maintaining automated test scripts within Guidewire environments • Validate data integrity, system integrations, and end-to-end workflows across Guidewire and connected third-party systems • Assess and communicate quality risks to project and engagement leads • Contribute to QA process improvements, Guidewire-specific testing standards, templates, and best practices • Support testing and quality assurance across complex insurance transformation engagements for global clients

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of quality assurance or software testing experience in a professional delivery environment • Hands-on experience testing within at least one Guidewire product: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter • Ability to design and execute test cases from business requirements and functional specifications • Experience testing across UI, API, integration, and data layers within complex multi-system environments • Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent defect tracking and project management tools • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall testing approaches • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail • Ability to clearly articulate defects and their business impact • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Guidewire certification at Associate or Professional level preferred • Experience across multiple Guidewire products preferred • Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform release cycles and cloud-specific testing • Experience testing Guidewire integrations with third-party data vendors, payment processors, and document management systems preferred • Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent preferred • API testing and validation using Postman or SoapUI preferred • Understanding of data validation, migration testing, or ETL testing in insurance or financial services contexts preferred • Familiarity with JMeter or LoadRunner preferred • ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification, or equivalent QA credential preferred
