📋 Description

• Support feature development by creating acceptance scenarios and writing automation tests to validate test case success/failure • Perform exploratory testing to uncover software defects, edge cases, and usability issues • Write automated tests covering functional, integration, performance, and security testing domains • Apply and enforce test automation design patterns across teams and products • Guide teams on quality and testing best practices, including TDD, CI/CD integration, and shift-left testing • Use data monitoring frameworks to surface performance metrics, identify trends, and flag quality risks • Drive decision-making to achieve and maintain PCI and WCAG compliance • Collaborate with customer support and product teams to investigate software problems, troubleshoot, narrow down, and determine root causes • Mentor and share knowledge with junior QA team members • Help deliver scalable, high-quality features for Nortal's donation management platform

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading test automation strategy in prior roles • 8+ years of experience standing up and utilizing test frameworks, including API and web UI testing • 4+ years of experience with Playwright and/or Cypress, plus WebdriverIO • Ability to critically review, validate, and maintain AI-generated test cases • Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines • Comprehensive knowledge of application software design patterns and emerging technologies • Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience • Collaborative, positive attitude and strong sense of ownership • Bonus: Experience with AWS or other cloud services • Bonus: Familiarity with GitLab, Atlassian Suite, Split.io, BrowserStack, Mailtrap, Postman, Datadog, Google Analytics, Postgres, and MySQL • Bonus: Experience with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban, XP) • Bonus: Experience with B2C products • Bonus: Master's degree or further education/experience in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
