📋 Description

• Conduct video, telephone, and in-person interviews to evaluate and analyze claims • Investigate contestable death claims for Life Benefits • Settle and negotiate Overpayments of benefits • Handle NM Group Claims, LTC, Compliance, Law and other areas of the company • Assist in investigations including suspected fraud, diminished capacity, elder abuse • Provide detailed written reports on all interviews conducted • Prepare and attach accurate file documentation on claims • Promote NM’s brand and image during interactions with policyholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 5 years of complex disability or life claims handling experience • Investigative background is desired • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated ability to work independently • Proficiency with laptop computers and utilizing software such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, Slack, Dragon, and other technologies • Ability to travel by air, rail or vehicle and work nights/weekends when required • Completion of industry courses as required by company. • Excellent personal financial management and credit history.
