You will work with assigned EMEA countries by coordination of end-to-end payroll process while ensuring accurate and timely delivery of remuneration to Novo Nordisk employees. • We accept Remote work! • Key Accountabilities: Manage the end-to-end payroll processing cycle for assigned countries (e.g., Italy), ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines. Act as a key point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external payroll providers. Address payroll and benefits queries escalated from the HR team or employees. Support administration of local employee benefits, where applicable. Contribute to payroll, time, and attendance, as well as shift planning projects and vendor-related initiatives. Identify opportunities to optimize processes in payroll operations, benefits administration, and time and attendance, driving efficiency and alignment with the PTB team’s goals. • Your new department You will join the Payroll, Time, and Benefits (PTB) team, part of Novo Nordisk’s EMEA Regional Service Centre (RSC), based in Warsaw. As a vital part of Novo Nordisk’s global operations, the RSC EMEA is more than a shared services hub—it’s a collaborative, fast-moving center driving innovation and impact across Europe. With responsibilities spanning countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, and the UK, the PTB team operates on a truly international scale. By joining this diverse, dynamic group, you’ll contribute to payroll and benefits operations that touch lives around the globe—while transforming your career along the way. • Your skills & qualifications To be successful in this role you need to have knowledge and savviness regarding cultural differences. Strong communication and change management capabilities as well as excellent stakeholder management skills in an international environment are also crucial in this role. Customer-centred mindset and solid business understanding as well as focus on operational excellence and delivering on KPIs are also necessary. It is also important in this role to be reliable, accurate and aware of the level of sensitivity of the data processed daily which has a direct impact on the company’s employees’ lives. The appeal of numbers/figures and systems is essential. • We expect you to have: A minimum of 3 years’ experience (for mid-level roles) or up to 6 years’ experience (for senior roles) in payroll processing within large-scale organizations. Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken) is essential. Strong proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Employee Central). Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
