📋 Description

• Evaluation and approval of builds (core of the role): Review individual builds requested by game devs in the hub, as well as builds in the publishing flow. • Test each submitted build across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and representative scenarios from our user base — desktop and, when applicable, mobile. • Check performance, load times, download size, memory usage, behavior under variable network conditions, and stability during extended sessions. • Reproduce and document bugs clearly: steps to reproduce, evidence (video, screenshots, logs), severity and expected player impact. • Approve, reject, or request changes for each build, maintaining an organized history of decisions. • Review game pages (store pages): assets, screenshots, videos, descriptions, age ratings and localization to PT-BR when applicable. • Review pages created internally by the spawnd development team. • Have autonomy to test and review already-published (live) items, both back-catalog and new titles that enter production during your tenure.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven prior experience in at least one of the following areas: game QA, game/app review for app stores (Apple, Google, Steam, console stores), game production with direct responsibility for quality, or equivalent fields. • Real familiarity with gaming culture: you play, know genres, references and trends, and can articulate why a game is or isn’t good. • Technical eye to identify issues in builds: bugs, performance, compatibility, regressions between versions. • Professional written English — a core requirement for the role. • Good written Portuguese for internal documentation, recording decisions, and team communication. • Autonomy, organization and ability to prioritize in a remote environment, with good written records of your work. • Sound judgment and good criteria: the role involves subjective quality decisions, and we want someone who can defend their choices with reasoned arguments.
