📋 Description

• Design, implement, and optimize low-level C firmware for the Boot and Power Management Processor (BPMP) across the entire Tegra SoC lifecycle • Provide hands-on technical support to active product programs by diagnosing and debugging complex, high-priority issues • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive rapid issue resolution • Partner with hardware, software, and safety architecture teams across globally distributed engineering sites to align requirements and system-level interfaces • Diagnose complex hardware/software boundary failures using boot logs and hardware traces • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests • Perform error injection on emulation platforms and physical boards

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience • 2+ years of professional experience in embedded firmware development, low-level C programming, and memory-mapped register access • Demonstrated ability to perform technical problem-solving in complex projects • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Hands-on experience or familiarity with AI agents or LLM-assisted software development workflows • Good grasp of SoC boot flows, interrupts, linker/build systems, and device tree-based configurations • Knowledge of low-level SoC infrastructure including clocks, resets, voltage rails, and power-gating behaviors • Debugging skills, self-starter mindset, teamwork, and meticulous regression avoidance • Experience or strong professional interest in Rust for systems programming, safe firmware architectures, or tooling • Proven background working under ISO 26262 functional safety standards and executing FMEA • Familiarity with secure boot concepts and hardware/software boundary security • Passion for working closely with hardware designers on next-generation silicon design
