CHAMBRE REGIONALE D'AGRICULTURE OCCITANIE is a regional public organization that represents, advises and supports agricultural actors across the Occitanie region in France. It offers information, training, technical and economic advisory services, coordinates local chambers, promotes agricultural sectors (viticulture, livestock, organic farming, forestry), manages programs on agri-environment, climate adaptation, water and soil management, and facilitates access to funding and market development. The chamber also runs events, research and innovation partnerships, vocational promotion and installation/transmission assistance to strengthen regional rural development and the agri-food value chain.

📋 Description

• Advise beef cattle farmers on farm performance, feed self-sufficiency, production costs, and the profitability of their livestock operations • Support the development of production systems and improvements in performance • Design and support livestock building projects • Submit planning applications and carry out environmental condition assessments • Prepare applications for PCAE funding • Collect and analyze technical and economic data as part of the INOSYS program • Produce and promote technical benchmarks and reference materials for farmers, partners, and stakeholders across the sector • Lead training sessions and organize or participate in technical events • Contribute to the commercial development of services and manage client follow-up

🎯 Requirements

• Higher education qualification in agriculture • Proven experience in beef cattle farming and advising farmers • Interest in livestock buildings, animal welfare, and working conditions • Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive approach • Enjoyment of teamwork • Experience in livestock building design is an advantage • Experience designing agricultural buildings and knowledge of the realities of livestock farms • Category B driving licence required
