📋 Description
• Handling patient billing inquiries for the Health System • Providing customer service and collecting past due balances • Ensuring timely and accurate responses to patients • Serving as a liaison between the patient, providers, and external departments • Recording transactions and resolving discrepancies • Planning and prioritizing work effectively • Educating debtors on payment options and financial impacts
🎯 Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent • 1 year of customer service, healthcare, or office experience • Previous call center experience preferred • Experience with medical terminology in a medical billing environment • Computer skills and dexterity for data entry • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Proficient with Windows-style applications • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to perform effectively under fluctuating workload
