📋 Description

• Innovate within complexity: Energy is an industry with dense business rules. Your job is to translate this complexity into robust, high-performance backend services while staying ahead in innovation. • Collaborate internationally: Although you will develop exclusively for the French market, you won't be working alone. You will work closely with the Core team (based in London) that defines the overall architecture and codebase best practices. • Share and collaborate 🌍: You will take part in ongoing exchanges with developers from other countries within the group. Code sharing is the norm: you reuse what works elsewhere and contribute back to the common foundation. • Own your projects from A to Z: From kick-off to architecture, from implementation to monitoring on Datadog, you drive change and are responsible for the quality of your code.

🎯 Requirements

• Ideally, you have around 3 years of experience in similar roles. • Strong fundamentals in Python: It is our core language. Your mastery of backend concepts, logical thinking, and comfort with typed Python will make a difference. • Django framework: Deep experience with the Django framework for designing robust, scalable backend architectures. • An eye for architecture: You are keen to deepen a Layered Architecture approach to decouple business logic from the framework and ensure maintainability. • Handling dense business logic: You can translate demanding workflows into robust technical solutions (REST/GraphQL/SOAP APIs, background tasks with Celery). • Desire to work within a global codebase: You will join a monorepo shared by over 50 developers across 6 countries. This requires consistency and offers real opportunities for knowledge sharing. • Curiosity about GraphQL: Our API relies almost exclusively on this technology. You are eager to use it to build elegant, high-performance interfaces. • Rigor and kindness: For us, code review is a collaborative, constructive moment where technical excellence lifts everyone up. • Working English: Ability to communicate with the Core team and document your code for international peers.
