📋 Description

• Deliver complete features end-to-end, from technical breakdown through production deployment, in a high-volume microservices platform • Design solutions within the existing architecture and involve a Senior when designs cross module boundaries • Address concurrency, high-volume traffic, and availability challenges • Co-own service health through testing, observability, and handling production issues • Use AI coding tools in the daily workflow while owning the correctness, security, and performance of generated output • Review pull requests from peers and junior developers • Mentor junior developers through pairing and code-review feedback • Break down work, estimate it, and deliver commitments • Contribute as part of a collaborative, autonomous product team

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience with Golang, or 3+ years of backend experience with at least 1 year in Go • Working grasp of software architecture and ability to make sound decisions within own modules • Practical experience with concurrent and event-driven systems, including goroutines, channels, race conditions, retries, and idempotency • Working knowledge of distributed systems and cloud computing principles • Experience building microservices with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB • Familiarity with API design patterns such as gRPC or GraphQL • Experience operating code in production on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Comfortable with Docker • Unit and integration testing experience • Familiarity with Agile development practices • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent • Ability to steer AI coding tools using appropriate context and iterative workflows • Ability to identify when AI tools should not be used • Ability to review AI-generated code for edge cases, concurrency behavior, security, performance, hallucinated APIs, outdated patterns, and subtle errors • Understanding of external-model data boundaries, secrets hygiene, and licensing of generated code • Interest in esports or traditional sports is a plus • Terraform knowledge is a plus • Experience with agentic workflows, MCP servers, or AI-model internal tooling is nice to have
