📋 Description
• Review audit testing, financial statements and compliance work prepared by the team • Supervise and coach graduate and cadet auditors • Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and explain findings • Conduct technical research on complex audit and accounting issues • Flag risks and control improvements • Support practice process improvements • Contribute to occasional business development activities • Work with Australian directors and managers on external audit and compliance engagements
🎯 Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience in external/public practice audit • CA/CPA qualified, or actively working towards completion • Hands-on experience conducting or reviewing external audits under Australian Auditing Standards, IFRS/ISA, or a closely comparable international framework • Experience reviewing, coaching or giving feedback on work prepared by junior or graduate team members • Confident, clear communication and direct client liaison ability • Strong attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple concurrent audit deadlines • Preferred: Experience with CaseWare or a similar engagement management platform • Preferred: Experience working with Australian Accounting & Audit firms • Preferred: Proficiency with MYOB, Xero and Excel • More audit experience is welcomed
