📋 Description

• Overseeing employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. • Serving as a strategic HR partner to operational leaders. • Supporting employees and operations in California. • Conducting and documenting complex workplace investigations. • Advising managers on corrective actions and performance improvement plans. • Managing the performance of HR team members.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • Minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience. • Minimum of three years of direct employee relations experience. • Prior supervisory or people-management experience is required, including responsibility for coaching, developing, and managing the performance of HR team members. • California HR experience is required, including demonstrated knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices. • Demonstrated experience conducting and documenting complex workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, conflicts of interest, and other sensitive employee matters. • Experience advising managers on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, involuntary terminations, and other risk-sensitive employment decisions. • Experience supporting a multi-location and multi-state workforce. • Working knowledge of wage-and-hour requirements, leaves of absence, disability accommodations, the interactive process, harassment prevention, and workplace safety. • Ability to interpret and consistently apply company policies and employment requirements. • Strong written communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage competing priorities. • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
