📋 Description

• Maintain a platform that enables all teams within the Group to store their data, transform it, and make it available for consumption, delivering relevant data to other teams and/or end users; • Work on highly scalable, distributed systems with high availability and fault tolerance, focused on fast, large-scale processing; • Use modern and open-source technologies; • Maintain and develop a modern data platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and best practices. • Proficiency in Python and PySpark. • Advanced SQL and experience with distributed query engines (Athena, Presto, Trino). • Hands-on experience with real-time (streaming) data processing architectures. • Big Data frameworks: Practical experience with Spark, Hive, and Presto. • Familiarity with Linux environments. • Strong AWS skills with substantial experience in maintaining and evolving data platforms. • Security and governance: Experience with AWS IAM and AWS Lake Formation. • Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD: Knowledge of Terraform and automation with GitHub Actions (CI/CD). • Orchestration: Airflow / MWAA (Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow). • Processing and catalog: AWS Glue (Jobs, Metastore, and Data Quality). • Machine learning: AWS SageMaker.
