• Provide leadership/direction to a team of Event Managers to ensure successful delivery of programs • Develop and mentor the assigned team of Event Managers to ensure their career path and growth • Operate programs as assigned • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports • Approval of time off requests/tracking compliance • Manage Programs • Develop staffing plans to address sold project activity • Drive operational excellence and growth in collaboration with Sales Team partners
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience; travel/tourism emphasis preferred • 7+ years of extensive meeting/incentive & event management experience • 2-3 years of experience managing teams of at least 4 people • Previous experience in successfully delegating and leading individuals/team • Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Proven ability in Project Management & Financial Aptitude. • Knowledge of event registration tools preferred (e.g., Cvent, Swoogo, Certain)
