📋 Description

• Convert standard operating procedures into automation routines • Optimize the daily efficiency of systems and cloud management • Build automation tooling across a portfolio of products and technologies • Provide automation runbooks to the cloud engineering team • Support core systems management • Perform advanced Windows server management at scale • Support SaaS application platforms • Participate in an on-call pager rotation • Provide level-3 support through a ticketing system

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of Microsoft and Linux platform management at scale within a SaaS deployment with 100+ servers • 4+ years of production use of tier-1 public cloud services: Azure, AWS, or GCP • 4+ years of production networking experience at scale • 4+ years of production automation using configuration-management tools in Windows and Linux environments • 4+ years of production use of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch • 4 years of Python, SQL, Terraform, PowerShell, or other scripting languages • 2 years of production use of container scheduling engines: Mesos, Docker, or Kubernetes • 2 years of production management of CI/CD solutions: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or ArgoCD • 3 years working in a ticketing system providing level-3 support: ServiceNow, Jira, etc. • Experience working in an Agile environment • Experience working in a global organisation • Experience managing schema changes as code • Ability to participate in an on-call pager rotation • Automation-oriented approach to work • Open collaboration and communication • Code-over-GUI-driven management approach
