📋 Description

• Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice throughout the product development process. • Advise on regulatory and privacy frameworks applicable to healthcare technology, telemedicine, and AI-powered tools. • Draft, review, and negotiate product-related agreements, including licensing, data-sharing, and technology partnerships. • Ensure that product launches and updates comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. • Monitor evolving laws in technology, AI, and data governance, advising internal stakeholders on risk mitigation and compliance strategies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape internal policies and best practices around AI ethics, data usage, and security. • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on complex legal questions involving technology innovation and responsible AI deployment. • Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. • 8+ years of legal experience, with significant in-house or law firm experience supporting product development and technology transactions. • Deep experience advising on AI products, data governance, and emerging technology issues. • Strong understanding of data privacy, consumer protection, and healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, FTC, FDA guidance). • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and business leaders in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills. • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation and compliance in a growth-oriented organization.
