📋 Description

• Migrate the SQL Server enterprise data warehouse from Azure VMs to AWS, preserving the ODS to EDW to BI dependency chain • Move and re-point SSIS packages, including those triggered by PowerShell after upstream file downloads • Keep 600+ stored procedures and 1,060 pipeline call dependencies working • Refactor stored procedures and dependencies that cannot be migrated as-is • Reconcile row counts and business measures against the source before cutover • Preserve PowerShell-triggered SSIS runs for CRM and core business application feeds • Maintain the SSISDB-driven ODS and warehouse loading process throughout migration

🎯 Requirements

• Real experience building and operating SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages • Advanced T-SQL; able to read a 500-line stored procedure and explain what it actually does • SQL Server Enterprise Edition in production, including performance tuning • Dimensional modeling: star schemas and slowly changing dimensions • Judgment to know when to rebuild versus lift-and-shift • Working-level AWS (EC2, RDS, S3) • AWS certification expected within the first year if not already held • Proven experience validating that a migrated warehouse is correct, not just moved • Professional written and spoken English
