📋 Description

• Develop and implement the ESG strategy, including priorities, governance and operating model, aligned with the company’s strategic planning • Structure the strategic ESG roadmap and monitor ESG targets (short-, medium- and long-term) • Lead the definition and consolidation of the 2030 ESG targets, aligned with the company’s strategic planning • Ensure ESG targets are cascaded across departments and systematically monitor results • Manage sustainability and governance committees • Ensure adherence to standards, norms and frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, among others) • Establish indicators, metrics and monitoring mechanisms • Support the Board and Executive Management on sustainability topics and ESG risks • Lead initiatives related to waste management and circular economy, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction and decarbonization targets, biogas, biomethane, waste-to-energy and renewable energy projects, environmental permitting and regulatory compliance • Monitor environmental indicators (emissions, water consumption, energy efficiency, reuse) • Develop carbon inventory and mitigation plans • Develop social impact programs in communities surrounding the operations • Manage stakeholder relationships (communities, public agencies, investors, NGOs) • Support ESG audits and due diligence processes • Prepare the annual Sustainability Report • Respond to investor questionnaires and ESG rating agencies • Support institutional communications and the brand’s sustainability positioning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Law or related fields • Postgraduate degree/MBA in Sustainability, ESG or Environmental Management is desirable • Strong knowledge of Corporate Sustainability, preferably in infrastructure, energy or waste sectors • Knowledge of carbon inventory (GHG Protocol) • Familiarity with environmental legislation and the carbon market • Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG management, Sustainability, decarbonization projects and topics related to waste treatment activities, circular economy and the energy transition
