• Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions for completeness and compliance with AIAG and customer requirements. • Validate dimensional results, GD&T, control plans, PFMEA, MSA, material certifications, and performance testing. • Ensure alignment to design records, print notes, and critical characteristics. • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve documentation gaps and drive corrective actions. • Track PPAP status and escalate risks to support NPI, ECNs, and production readiness. • Prepare and issue Part Submission Warrants (PSW) and approval documentation. • Maintain accurate PPAP records and revision control. • Support launch readiness, APQP activities, and design/process reviews. • Review capability studies, Gage R&R, and process validation documentation. • Support interim approvals and manage supplier resubmissions. • Participate in internal and external audits related to PPAP compliance. • Drive improvement in PPAP first-pass yield and reduce submission errors.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of experience in quality, supplier quality, or PPAP coordination. • Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC). • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications. • Experience reviewing dimensional reports, certifications, and process validation data. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality/document management systems.
