Its platform and services are delivered to banks, card issuers, payment processors, and other financial institutions to reduce fraud while preserving customer experience.

📋 Description

• Lead the development and deployment of Outseer products in alignment with the Product roadmap. • Provide strategic and operational leadership in the design and development of company applications. • Translate product strategy and objectives into technological capability. • Deliver architecture, design, and execution within predictable timelines, with high quality and scalability. • Drive development, implementation, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions across Outseer’s product portfolio. • Innovate and engineer solutions in the fraud detection engineering domain to combat financial crime. • Derive and optimize engineering KPIs, foster agility, and manage teams through potentially disruptive changes. • Lead and mentor software engineers distributed across various geographical locations. • Drive engineering excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement. • Deliver exceptional software products on time and within budget. • Lead organizational, cultural, and operational change while maintaining delivery momentum. • Align teams around strategy and develop leaders. • Balance innovation, customer commitments, technical debt, and operational stability. • Establish reliability practices and outcome-based KPIs to improve delivery, productivity, quality, and customer impact. • Set architectural direction across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS platforms. • Build a secure, automated SDLC spanning CI/CD, testing, release management, vulnerability management, and compliance. • Evaluate technologies and vendors and lead responsible adoption and effective use of AI across the software development lifecycle.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 12+ years’ experience leading teams of software developers, with a strong track record of successfully leading global teams. • Demonstrated experience in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. • Proven experience in fraud detection engineering or a related field, with a deep understanding of how to engineer real time solutions that mitigate fraud. • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of software engineers. • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement. • Experience with agile & SAFe development methodologies and modern software development practices. • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Familiarity with various software development technologies, frameworks, and programming languages. • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to achieving objectives. • Effective communicator to act as an advisor to senior leadership and partners. • Flexible and adaptive in ambiguous environments. • Proven ability to understand the impact of technology on business challenges, processes, and efficiency. • Able to explain benefits of a technical product / solution to a client in relation to the client’s business needs. • Work interdependently and manage multiple projects concurrently. • Translate technical information into easy-to-understand language. • Read and interpret technical information. • Compose clear and concise technically written communications. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills leveraging all available resources. • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
