📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic HR partner to directors and regional teams supporting conservation programs • Align HR initiatives with the organization’s mission, values, and long-term conservation goals • Support leaders in building engaged, high-performing teams across diverse environments, including field operations • Provide guidance on employee relations matters with sensitivity to cultural and regional differences • Manage HR operations across the Americas, including onboarding, offboarding, and HR systems • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in the U.S., Latin America, Canada, and other regional jurisdictions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred) • 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a non-profit, NGO, or mission-driven environment • Experience supporting multi-country teams across the Americas • Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices in the U.S. and Latin America • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing, in professional and business environments • Legal work authorization in United States or Costa Rica
