📋 Description

• Responsible for lifetime medical cost planning for injured workers on an accurate and timely basis. • Participate in the improvement of the process surrounding the estimation of lifetime medical costs. • Support the actuarial function with regards to data analysis of medical claims using database in programming tools. • Create visually appealing and accurate deliverables, including self-service capabilities. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and develop business questions for analytic investigation and modeling. • Utilize applicable data/analytical tools to extract and analyze data (e.g., R, SQL, Excel, Power BI)

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency and experience designing and running complex data programs, (e.g., extract and analyze data via R, SAS,SQL, Python, VBA). • Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Power BI or similar. • 5+ years of experience in workers’ compensation. • 5+ years of experience with health care claims data and analyses. • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams.
