• Analyze, interpret, and abstract oil & gas leases, contracts, and related agreements • Maintain accurate lease records, obligations, and ownership data within land systems • Monitor and track key lease terms including expiration dates, renewals, drilling obligations, and royalty provisions • Collaborate with Land, Division Order, GIS, and Accounting teams to ensure alignment across ownership and lease data • Identify discrepancies in lease terms, ownership, or payments and resolve issues proactively • Support due diligence efforts for acquisitions, divestitures, and title reviews • Prepare detailed reports and summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies • Assist in process improvements and implementation of best practices for lease management
• 5+ years of experience in oil & gas lease analysis or land administration • Strong understanding of oil & gas lease terms, mineral rights, and ownership structures • Experience with lease management systems (e.g., P2, Quorum, LandWorks, or similar) • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis • Ability to interpret complex legal documents with high accuracy • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in high-volume environments • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
