📋 Description

• Create production-ready 3D models in STEP, STL, and native CAD formats for prototyping and manufacturing • Produce photorealistic renders and visual assets for clients and backers • Develop industrial designs balancing aesthetics, ergonomics, ruggedness, and manufacturability • Refine enclosures and form factors for complex multi-radio and portable electronic devices • Create clear design documentation and feedback to improve the product through iterations • Support 3D-printed prototypes and prepare designs for injection-molded production • Take concepts from rough sketches or existing models through production-ready files • Design physical product experiences with appropriate shape, weight, and details • Collaborate asynchronously as an independent contractor within Parcero’s digital systems and product-building work

🎯 Requirements

• Proven industrial design experience for consumer electronics, handheld devices, and portable products • Mastery of 3D modeling and CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Blender, or equivalent • Ability to produce high-quality photorealistic 3D renders • Strong understanding of ergonomics, form factor, grip, button placement, and human factors • Experience designing for manufacturability, including injection molding, tolerances, materials, and DFM • Comfort working with multi-component assemblies including enclosures, antennas, batteries, PCBs, and screens • Ability to take a concept from a rough sketch or existing model through production-ready files • Portfolio showing rugged, outdoor, or portable electronic products is a strong plus • Familiarity with mesh networking devices, radio form factors, walkie-talkies, or mobile phone industrial design is a bonus • Industrial engineering or mechanical design background is a bonus • Ability to work asynchronously and overlap at least 8 hours with São Paulo, Brazil • Independent contractor status • Willingness to work without a guaranteed paycheck or traditional employment stability
