📋 Description

• Receive and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including study protocols or synopses • Assign and notify appropriate Subject Matter Experts for RFPs • Coordinate proposal preparation across strategic and operational areas • Prepare and review proposals and budgets • Manage the RFP process from receipt through delivery, identifying barriers, risks, and mitigation strategies • Obtain third-party quotes as needed • Ensure proposals and budgets align with RFPs, client specifications, communications, and internal assumptions • Maintain documents, files, data, metrics, and KPI systems • Create and finalize budgets and contracts according to departmental SOPs, guidance, and work instructions • Amend project budgets in partnership with project and functional teams • Develop contract strategies and plans for client signature • Deliver quality client deliverables to strict deadlines • Attend relevant meetings and build internal and external stakeholder relationships • Lead and facilitate client meetings to negotiate costs and terms • Prepare draft contract documents from Parexel templates • Identify contractual issues requiring finance, tax, or other stakeholder input • Organize time, prepare handoffs, develop proposal and contract plans, and prioritize deliverables • Map client bid-grids with support as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Good understanding of operational aspects of clinical study conduct across different world regions, demonstrated through relevant industry experience • Strong analytical, time management, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines • Ability to recognize when to seek support or escalate difficult situations • Above-average attention to detail • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Highly developed interpersonal and team-oriented skills • Confidence interacting with all levels of staff • Ability to lead internal meetings • Ability to manage varied tasks and prioritize workload • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and value teamwork • Fluent in written and oral English • Basic knowledge of proposals and contract management principles, contractual terms, pricing structures, pricing tools, and data systems such as Salesforce • Moderate knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases • Preferably two years of previous experience in project support, finance, contracting, or proposals in a CRO or similar environment • Previous proposal development experience is a plus • Experience in multinational and multicultural companies is a plus • Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed to meet client proposal deadlines • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages, or equivalent combination of education and experience • MBA preferred
