📋 Description

• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions • Record journal entries to close books on a monthly basis • Reconcile assigned accounts on a monthly basis • Record invoices, obtain approval, and generate payments • Manage supplier tax documentation, including VAT IDs and other required tax information • Support contractor income tracking and ensure VAT compliance where applicable • Organize and maintain vendor records • Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual audits • Provide necessary documentation and support during audits • Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable accounting standards • Complete ad hoc projects • Crosstrain and back up other team members when necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent German (written and spoken) • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2+ years of experience in financial accounting or a similar accounting role • Familiarity with Hubspot, Ramp, and similar tools • Multitasking, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
