• Support project/pilot/product scoping for the Technology Portfolio through qualitative and quantitative research, which includes interviews, surveys, process mapping, and policy reviews. • Design and implement day-to-day project deliverables, such as: work plans, public forms and applications, project charters, SWOT analyses, low- or no-code demonstration tools, custom AI agents, dashboards, streamlined policy and procedure documents, research reports, engaging training and case study materials, and effective public-facing communications. • Lead day-to-day change management and implementation activities, including meetings and workshops with government and nonprofit stakeholders, coaching and advisory support to government partners, and project management check-ins. • Monitor and uplift trends in government technology, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and represent PPG at conferences and events. • Test and evaluate new technology relevant to PPG’s work and partnerships, and provide input to internal operational improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent years of professional experience and/or certifications will be considered in lieu of formal education. • Three or more years of government technology experience (in the public or private sector) or related work experience. • Hands-on experience implementing or testing new AI or software in a government context, including navigating technology procurement processes, developing project or pilot workplans, and collaborating across technical and non-technical stakeholders with competing interests. • Meaningful knowledge of state and local government operations across topics like permitting, licensing, budgeting, or human resources. • Excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to produce compelling, well-written, and error-free work products. • Strong project management skills, with track record of independently managing projects and establishing priorities among multiple simultaneous deadlines. • Familiarity with product management frameworks (e.g., agile, scrum, backlog management, product road mapping) and/or UX design processes (e.g., design thinking, usability testing, research synthesis), and tools (e.g., Figma, Miro). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio) and the Power Automate Platform. • General comfort with Zoom, MailChimp, Miro and/or other outreach or virtual collaboration tools. • General comfort with (and responsible use of) generative AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc. • Ability to test products (including AI tools), evaluate outputs, and recommend improvements based on performance data and user feedback. • Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and a willingness to learn new platforms and methodologies. • Willingness and ability to travel as needed at least six times per year.
