📋 Description

• Maintain and update all financial records in Xero (essential) • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes • Monitor and follow up on overdue creditors and payments • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial data • Manage Gmail inbox and coordinate calendars for installations and site work • Schedule upcoming flooring installations and track job progress • Complete monthly administrative tasks and reporting • Maintain accurate records across internal systems • Process orders and invoices using the company’s internal sales system (training provided) • Coordinate stock ordering and ensure materials are ready for upcoming installs • Liaise internally to ensure smooth workflow from sale to installation • Conduct customer check-in calls throughout projects • Follow up on job progress and customer satisfaction • Update internal systems with call outcomes and notes • Maintain a professional and friendly customer experience

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven bookkeeping experience using Xero with AU client in the construction, flooring, or trades-based businesses or the likes • Proficiency in the following tools: • Xero (non-negotiable) • Google Workspace (GMail, Google Calendar) • Internal sales and invoicing system (training provided) • VoIP system for New Zealand phone number access • Excellent communication skills (comfortable on phone with customers) • Familiarity with job scheduling and stock coordination is big advantage • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
