They focus on long-term retention and quality in their hiring processes, aiming to build high-performing remote teams for a range of industries including healthcare, real estate, and finance.

📋 Description

• Transition business-critical automations from n8n, Zapier, and similar no-code platforms into maintainable software services • Reverse-engineer triggers, steps, dependencies, business rules, retries, and undocumented edge cases • Sequence migrations by business criticality, reliability risk, and maintenance burden • Validate migrated behavior against production and maintain clear rollback paths • Build long-running, failure-resistant workflows in Temporal.io or a comparable orchestration framework • Implement retries, timeouts, idempotency, checkpoints, and state management • Build reusable integrations across CRM/recruiting systems, Supabase/PostgreSQL, Google Sheets, Slack, and internal APIs • Implement structured logging, monitoring, alerting, execution visibility, replay, and recovery mechanisms • Build reconciliation processes and audit trails while respecting source-of-truth boundaries • Write documented, well-tested Python and/or TypeScript using Git, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD • Document architecture, dependencies, assumptions, and recovery procedures • Help define reliability standards for Pearl's automation infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Backend engineering experience owning integrations, internal tooling, or automation infrastructure at a startup, or equivalent platform/infrastructure, low-code migration, or automation-heavy full-stack experience • Strong backend fundamentals in Python and/or TypeScript; experience building services, not just scripts • Deep comfort with APIs and asynchronous work, including REST, webhooks, authentication, pagination, rate limits, queues, and asynchronous jobs • Strong SQL and PostgreSQL fundamentals • Understanding of retries, idempotency, distributed systems, and recovery patterns • Ability to reverse-engineer undocumented workflows and translate business logic into reliable software • Production experience with Git, testing, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and operations • Nice to have: Temporal.io or another orchestration framework • Nice to have: n8n, Zapier, or Make, especially paired with migrating off them • Nice to have: Supabase and event-driven architectures • Nice to have: Docker and cloud deployment • Nice to have: recruiting/CRM platform integrations • Nice to have: AI/LLM workflow or agent infrastructure
