• Manage communications with candidates in the hiring pipeline, including answering questions, sending batch updates, and ensuring timely responses • Oversee onboarding: send offer letters, track signatures, coordinate start dates, provision accounts, schedule onboarding events, and ensure onboarding to-dos are completed • Serve as main contact for new guides during hiring and onboarding, fielding questions and ensuring a smooth experience • Support development and maintenance of systems and processes that streamline hiring and onboarding (applicant tracking, workflow improvements) • Assist in tracking and analyzing guide team performance, flagging issues and helping management address challenges • Take on additional operational and administrative responsibilities as needed and expand into broader operational responsibilities over time • Work closely with a cofounder and gain visibility into early-stage startup operations
• Prior experience working in a startup or similarly fast-paced, ambiguous environment • Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal) — friendly, professional, and prompt • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Self-starter mindset with initiative to identify issues and follow through • Comfortable with adaptability and flexibility to shift priorities • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn tools like Google Suite, Slack, Notion • Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to improving processes • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with empathy and patience • Growth mindset — eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated to expand responsibilities • Passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives, especially improving access to care
