Pencil is an AI-driven creative platform for marketers and brands. It uses generative artificial intelligence to produce ad creative (images and video) and concept variations designed for performance marketing and e-commerce advertisers, helping teams scale creative production and test many ad variants quickly. Pencil is positioned as a B2B tool for marketing teams and agencies.

📋 Description

• Design and implement multi-agent workflows, including task decomposition, state management, and tool-use such as RAG and API integration • Implement rigorous evaluation frameworks using approaches such as LLM-as-a-judge, promptfoo, or DSPy to measure and improve agent performance at scale • Develop reusable agents and prompt libraries serving 1,000+ brands with unique voices simultaneously • Partner with AI Engineering and Product teams to determine which behaviors should be handled via prompting, RAG, or fine-tuning • Act as technical lead for complex client deployments, translating creative briefs into deterministic AI workflows • Design the agent logic, tool-calling structures, and evaluation loops powering Pencil’s core creative engine and bespoke client solutions • Support foundational agents for the Pencil SaaS platform and custom workflows for brands • Reduce workflow failure rates, minimize token usage and latency, improve output quality, measure brand alignment, and roll out core agents across the Pencil user base

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ Years of Direct GenAI Experience • Deep, intuitive, and technical understanding of LLMs including GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini • Understanding of multimodal models including Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and Video Gen • Systems thinking about latent space, context windows, and chaining agent outputs as inputs • Comfortable with Python, JSON structures, and API documentation • Familiarity with benchmarking and A/B testing AI outputs • Ability to translate creative direction into technical prompting strategies • Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen is a major plus • Ability to work from anywhere in your home country • Legal right to work and remain in the country in which you intend to work from
