• As a Support Specialist — Financial Control and Accounting, you act as both a domain expert and a platform specialist. • You are the main point of contact for our client base who have chosen Pennylane as the central software for their accounting and financial management. • You interact daily with users and work to understand the issues they encounter. • After investigating, your goal is to provide an answer or solution to the user, or when necessary, escalate the issue to the technical teams. • You are also responsible for helping company and firm accountants import their data into Pennylane to facilitate their migration. • You will join the Pennylane Academy and receive ongoing training on the product and the team’s processes. • You will learn everything there is to know about our company, our vision, and our various departments. • You will gain autonomy and take full ownership by ensuring thorough follow-up of requests until tickets are fully resolved to guarantee user satisfaction. • You will become a product expert and help increase your team’s efficiency by identifying areas for improvement.
• Accounting education (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de Gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA or Bachelor in Administrative and Accounting Management). • At least 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm (ideally including at least three fiscal periods/cycles). • Experience working directly with company leadership is a plus (e.g., internal advisory). • Interest in innovative work tools and new technologies. • Autonomy and the ability to solve problems independently and find solutions. • Familiarity with the Pennylane platform is a plus. • Professional level of English. • Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and professionally to users. • Ability to understand and respond to client needs, provide excellent service, and maintain strong client relationships. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in the product. • Willingness to learn and stay up to date with product developments.
