• As a Support Specialist for Accounting & Financial Operations, you act as a subject-matter and platform expert. • You are the primary contact for our customer base that has chosen Pennylane as their central accounting and financial management software. • As a member of the Application and Accounting Technical Support team, you serve as the central liaison between our clients (company leaders), their in-house accountants, and accounting firms. • You are in daily contact with users and work to understand the issues they encounter. • After investigating, your goal is to provide an answer or solution to the user, or when necessary, escalate the issue to the technical teams. • You are also responsible for helping company and firm accountants import their data into Pennylane to facilitate their migration. • You join the Pennylane Academy and train on the product and the team’s processes. • You learn to identify all stakeholders and to collaborate effectively within your team and with other departments. • You begin to handle accounting-related requests: you receive requests, qualify them based on a solid understanding of accounting principles, and provide quick, impactful responses. • You gain autonomy and take full ownership of cases, ensuring proper follow-up of requests until tickets are fully resolved to guarantee user satisfaction. • You start managing increasingly complex customer requests. • You contribute to creating and updating customer-facing help materials to improve client autonomy. • You share your accounting knowledge and field experience with colleagues. • You represent the customer’s perspective and provide constructive feedback to the product teams.
• Accounting education (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de Gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or Bachelor in Administrative and Accounting Management). • At least 3 years of experience in an accounting firm (ideally having completed at least three fiscal closing cycles). • Direct work with company leaders is a plus (e.g., in-house advisory roles). • Interest in innovative tools and new technologies. • Autonomy and the ability to solve problems independently and find solutions. • Familiarity with Pennylane is a plus. • Professional level of English. • Strong written communication skills and a pedagogical approach to interact with users clearly and professionally. • Ability to understand and respond to client needs, deliver excellent service, and maintain good client relationships. • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility to adapt to the rapid evolution of the tool. • Willingness to learn and stay up to date on product developments.
