📋 Description

• You provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the maintenance team and ensure the conduct of target-setting and development discussions as well as qualifications management. • You are responsible for cost controlling and for order management of commissioned maintenance activities, and you make operational make-or-buy decisions (managing the mix of in-house and external resources). • You support and advise the Asset Manager on measures to optimize maintenance effectiveness and equipment performance, and integrate maintenance aspects into equipment changes and projects. • Your responsibilities also include fulfilling (delegated) operator duties within your area of responsibility and implementing requirements from laws, regulations, ordinances and guidelines. • You contribute to the further development of the maintenance service portfolio as well as maintenance processes, methods and tools and to increasing maintenance efficiency. • In your work you actively cooperate with other maintenance managers at the site.

🎯 Requirements

• Academic degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering, or qualification as a mechanical engineering technician • At least five years of relevant professional experience; personnel responsibility is an advantage • Comprehensive expertise in repair and maintenance processes as well as operational controlling • Familiar with procurement processes and policies, as well as collective bargaining agreements and company HR regulations • Solid knowledge of SAP R/3 PM • Moderation and presentation skills, as well as very good German and good English language skills
