📋 Description

• Develop and support PHF Science’s public health dashboards and pipelines • Bring together diverse and complex data to advance the organisation’s scientific value • Partner with PHF Science experts to derive meaningful value from data • Develop scalable data ETL pipelines and API integrations • Integrate diverse datasets with GIS-enabled visualisations • Prepare solutions for near-real-time data collection, ingestion, storage and analysis • Develop technical standards for analytics application development and deployments • Contribute to requirements gathering and recommendations aligned with best practices and future-state design • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery and solutions • Upload a cover letter and CV outlining interest and relevant skills

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in an analytics role enabling completion of the listed tasks • A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering or related discipline • Relevant analytical coding experience using R, Python, R Shiny, Tableau, PowerBI, TSQL and/or Snowflake • Cloud systems development experience, ideally for data science or analytics purposes and Azure • Great numerical and analytical skills • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Cross-cultural communication skills desirable but not essential • Understanding of or willingness to develop capability in Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori and/or te reo Māori • Successful applicant required to complete a pre-employment drug screen and police records check
