📋 Description
• Monitor OCI services, respond to alerts, and perform initial triage and resolution • Execute standard operating procedures and maintain runbooks and knowledge articles • Manage capacity, housekeeping, and routine platform health checks • Administer users, groups, policies, dynamic groups, and access reviews using least-privilege principles • Support SSO/federation operations and access requests in line with governance • Operate VCNs, subnets, route tables, gateways, NSGs/security lists, and DRGs • Support VPN/FastConnect connectivity and DNS/load balancer operational tasks • Provision and support compute instances and instance pools • Manage patching and standard builds • Operate block, object, and file storage services, including backups, restores, and retention policies • Configure and maintain logging, monitoring, alarms, and notifications • Participate in on-call/rostered support if applicable • Manage incidents to SLA and complete post-incident actions • Implement approved patching, configuration, lifecycle, and decommissioning changes under change control • Coordinate maintenance windows and service communications • Support security remediation activities, including hardening and key/secret rotation tasks as directed • Assist with audit evidence collection and compliance checks
🎯 Requirements
• 5 years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure operations with hands-on OCI administration • Solid knowledge of OCI IAM concepts and policy management • Knowledge of cloud networking fundamentals, including routing, security controls, and private connectivity • Knowledge of monitoring/logging and operational troubleshooting • Working knowledge of Linux • Basic scripting skills, such as Bash or Python, for operational tasks • Familiarity with ITIL-aligned incident, change, and problem processes • OCI certifications (Foundations or Operations/Architect associate level) • Exposure to Terraform/IaC for applying vetted modules and making minor updates • Experience supporting OKE/Kubernetes or load balancers in an operations capacity • Methodical incident handling and clear communication under pressure • Strong attention to detail and discipline with change control • Customer-service mindset
