📋 Description

• Participate in software design, development, refactoring, support, and code reviews • Collaborate with platform teams to deliver results • Work autonomously with little or no supervision • Optimize the platform for maximum throughput and scalability • Take ownership of solutions and continuously improve systems and processes • Develop and maintain GPAS, a distributed, multi-tenant, event-driven gaming platform • Deliver new features using Scrum methodology

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing server-side applications in Scala • Strong working knowledge of Scala, preferably Scala 3, and SBT (Scala Build Tool) • Solid experience with Pekko/Akka, including HTTP, Actors, Cluster, Persistence, Streams, and connectors • Strong understanding of the JVM, data structures, and algorithms • Excellent knowledge of parallel and concurrent programming principles • Practical experience building high-scale, distributed systems with complex interfaces and integrations • Exceptional problem-solving skills and critical thinking • Willingness to document solutions and share knowledge with colleagues • Clear and effective communication in English • Previous iGaming experience, Typesafe Config, Couchbase or document-based NoSQL, AWS S3/DynamoDB, Play JSON, ScalaTest, Docker/Nomad/Kubernetes, and Linux are additional advantages
