📋 Description
• Perform professional accounting activities related to general accounting, fixed assets, capitalized software, and operational accounting • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations • Review work performed by accounting staff including invoices, vendor details, journal entries, and reconciliations • Review and analyze financial data and assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports • Ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and accounting standards • Partner with managers and internal teams to maintain and improve accounting processes and controls • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and support internal and external audits • Support management with ad hoc accounting and reporting requests
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience in a corporate accounting environment • Minimum 2 years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance role • Prior experience with SOX compliance • Experience with capitalized software accounting is a plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Proven experience working with US based business teams • Excellent written and communication skills in English language • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Experience with NetSuite and FloQast is a plus • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, virtual environment
