📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and distribute payroll-related reports, including compensation, taxes, garnishments, deductions, earnings registers, payroll files, and recurring or ad hoc reports • Issue annual W-2 forms to employees • Respond to payroll questions from employees and managers, research issues, and provide timely resolutions • Identify payroll process gaps and support efficient, accurate, and compliant payroll operations • Perform payroll data audits, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate employee and payroll records • Follow SOX controls and maintain documentation supporting payroll accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance • Enter, audit, review, correct, and transmit payroll data • Calculate and prepare on-cycle and off-cycle payroll payments, including final pay, stock options, commissions, and supplemental payments • Complete electronic filing of payroll-related documents and maintain organized payroll records • Research, analyze, and resolve payroll tax issues while supporting federal, state, and local compliance • Maintain time punches and payroll inputs in the time management system • Support timekeeping and scheduling modules through troubleshooting, guidance, and process support • Process garnishments, levies, bankruptcies, and child support wage assignments

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience processing full-cycle US payroll for 500+ employees, including multi-jurisdictional payroll • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • 1+ year of Workday payroll experience preferred, or 2+ years using another US payroll system • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including overtime requirements • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data validation, reconciliations, and payroll-related analysis • Ability to protect confidential employee and payroll information • Ability to troubleshoot issues, recommend practical solutions, and follow through on resolution • Strong communication, follow-up, and task-sharing skills • Ability to work effectively across teams • Ability to understand, document, and improve payroll-related business processes • Experience working with global and/or US-based business teams • Excellent written and communication skills in English • Quiet workspace • Internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
