📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of complex client files while ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services • Lead and review compilation and review engagements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness across all deliverables • Prepare and review complex corporate, personal, and trust income tax returns for a diverse client base • Support and execute advanced tax planning strategies and corporate reorganizations • Manage larger and more complex corporate group structures, providing insight and guidance to clients • Collaborate closely with firm leadership on operational decisions, workflow management, and long-term planning • Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and overall file performance, ensuring deadlines are consistently met • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and client service delivery • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members as required • Contribute to a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA designation (required) or equivalent depth of experience • 7+ years of progressive public practice experience, with exposure to complex engagements • Strong knowledge of ASPE and Canadian tax (corporate, personal, and trust) • Demonstrated experience with review engagements and financial reporting • Experience with CaseWare/CaseView, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office Suite • Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid environment is considered an asset.
