• Oversee and conquer your territory: Take full accountability for all PPG TESLIN® product sales within your assigned region, accomplishing PPG's global growth strategy. • Hunt new business: Identify and pursue untapped sales opportunities with new customers, expanding your pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship-building. • Maximize growth within existing accounts: Deepen relationships with current customers, uncovering and capturing every opportunity to increase sales and market reach. • Drive winning deals: Lead negotiations with customers and distributors to secure agreements that deliver value for both PPG and our partners. • Strategic account planning: Develop targeted plans to accelerate sales growth with customers, positioning yourself as their trusted advisor. • Exceed sales and profit goals: Own your sales and profit plan, applying insights and collaboration with Regional Sales and Market Managers to deliver outstanding results. • Smart pricing strategies: Analyze customer needs and market dynamics to recommend pricing that maximizes profitability while winning business. • Build powerful partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key internal stakeholders (R&D, manufacturing, technical service) and external decision-makers to unlock new opportunities. • Drive organic growth: Use commercial excellence tools and personal development resources to sharpen your sales skills and market impact. • Market intelligence and presence: Regular customers visit to showcase PPG's product innovations, monitor competitor activity, and represent PPG at industry events with a customer-focused presence. • Forecast with precision: Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to guide business planning and resource allocation. • Lead by example: Support and mentor new sales team members, sharing your winning approach to accelerate team success.
• Bachelor's degree required, a B.S. in Business or a related field. • 10+ years in dynamic commercial roles with good track record of sales success. • Background in product sales, technical sales, and commercial negotiations, with an ability to close complex deals and increase revenue. • A desire to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, combined with the ability to cultivate and expand existing accounts. • Able to develop account plans, negotiate, and recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability. • Experienced establishing and nurturing partnerships with customers and internal teams to unlock growth potential.
