📋 Description

• Own general ledger accounting processes for all P&L and balance sheet accounts • Maintain accounting policies and training materials • Oversee Treasury and Accounts Payable functions for multiple business units and legal entities • Review journal entries and prepare complex general ledger entries • Review Accounts Payable spending and cash-flow forecasts • Approve invoices and assist with cash-management ACH/wire submissions and approvals • Review balance-sheet reconciliations, including payroll liabilities, ROU assets, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations, insurance, and prepaids • Finalize consolidated corporate SGA budgets and forecasts and provide spend analysis • Train and mentor staff and conduct team training sessions at least bi-annually • Identify process improvements, integrate acquisitions, and initiate projects • Monitor and support implementation of emerging US GAAP standards • Establish internal controls to reduce payment errors, duplicate payments, and fraud • Review vendor and customer spend and aging analyses • Review customer contracts for revenue recognition compliance under US GAAP ASC 606 • Review audit support, finalize accounting memos, prepare audit schedules, and manage PBC requests • Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and reporting requirements • Oversee statutory financial statement preparation and submission • Act as primary contact for local accounting and tax partners • Support strategic initiatives including system implementations, integrations, and acquisitions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum concentration in accounting or finance • Accounting designation preferred (CPA) • Experience managing multiple legal entities within EMEA • Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience • Equivalent combination of education, professional training and experience accepted • Computerised ledger system experience (e.g. Infor) preferred • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred • Strong MS Office literacy preferred • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting best practices, including US and international accounting standards preferred • Proficient English language skills preferred • Experience from a Pharma Services or Clinical Research Organization preferred • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience developing teams preferred
