📋 Description

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives. • Managing the solicitation process, including reviewing/comparing specifications and costs and where appropriate supporting negotiation with vendors to reduce costs. • Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best possible prices and agreements. • Developing tools and processes to support efficient and quality driven procurement activities. • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the industry’s market trends and developments. • Leading transformational activities to build organizational procurement capabilities and improve procurement efficiency. • Delivering value and competitive advantage measured by cost reduction and cost avoidance, vendor-enabled innovation, and risk mitigation. • Ensuring compliance in purchasing process, especially in vendor selection and bidding.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or related field required or International equivalent education. • Minimum of five years of work experience in life science procurement and outsourcing. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, etc.). • Knowledge of purchasing policies processes, and procedures. • Knowledge and ability to negotiate best vendor terms and pricing. • Experience with clinical trial procurement and contract research organization operations. • Procurement and Supply Chain Certifications • Experience managing and developing staff.
