📋 Description

• Liaise with the Business Development team to identify companies of interest for nurtured outreach and meeting/RFP provision • Analyze the competitive environment and make recommendations • Develop an annual outreach plan, reviewed monthly with the line manager and Business Development team, to secure new and repeat business from biotech and pharmaceutical companies • Research social media, business and financial news, competitors’ websites, conferences, communication and marketing activities, and company decision makers and influencers • Research and analyze Precision’s markets, competition, product mix, and specified product markets • Coordinate with Marketing teams on collateral to support sales efforts • Update CRM and Sales Enablement systems to maintain data integrity and generate accurate weekly/monthly activity reports • Provide feedback to the line manager and Business Development leadership on company positioning, pricing, competitiveness, and market conditions • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting for Clinical Solutions, Labs, and Biospecimens

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a marketing/communication/science or business related discipline, or equivalent experience in a marketing/communication/business development/sales environment • Keen understanding of the CRO and Specialty Labs market and Precision’s role in that environment • Minimum 6 months experience within the product/service sales lifecycle, including client identification and prospecting • Direct B2B sales experience in the service industry • Willingness to undertake domestic and international travel including overnight stays • Fluent English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension • Drive and determination to meet and exceed targets and quotas • Adaptable, professional, and motivated; understanding of the sales cycle • Preferred: experience in the CRO/pharmaceutical or life sciences industry • Ability to work and plan independently and in a team environment • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to assess process efficiency • Exemplary verbal and written communication • Ability to conduct formal presentations to scientific, sales, and marketing audiences
