📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and support of core platform services and applications using MongoDB, Node.js, Nest.js, and Next.js • Architect, build, and maintain scalable systems that power our workforce development platforms • Design and develop modern web applications and RESTful services • Improve system performance and scalability • Ensure platform reliability, security, and maintainability • Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, product partners, and leadership to shape system architecture • Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices • Participate in regular Scrum ceremonies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and backend development using Node.js • Experience building APIs and services using modern frameworks (e.g., Nest.js, Express) • Experience designing and architecting distributed or scalable systems • Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases • Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Angular • Understanding of RESTful services and data formats such as JSON and XML • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based environments • Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and guiding technical best practices • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative communication skills
