📋 Description

• Ship frontend features for checkout and payment processing teams • Build the merchant dashboard experience in React for onboarding with Primer • Work with senior frontend engineers on scoping, architecture, conventions, and standards • Deploy features to production and track their impact • Help design and build merchants’ first experience with Primer in collaboration with Design • Contribute to the Python backend when useful • Participate in architecture discussions and articulate trade-offs • Deliver accessible, performant, maintainable frontend UI at scale • Write clean, well-tested, high-quality code

🎯 Requirements

• Solid frontend engineering experience with a track record of independently delivering production-grade work across the full lifecycle • Extensive experience with TypeScript • Ideally experience with web components • Ability to scope projects, plan architecture, and deliver independently • Strong understanding of accessible, performant, maintainable UI at scale • Ability to contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions and articulate trade-offs clearly • Writes clean, well-tested, high-quality code • Understands user and business context behind technical work • Communicates clearly and directly in async-first environments • Experience building SDKs, embeddable components, or developer-facing tooling is nice to have • Familiarity with payments, checkout flows, or high-availability frontend systems is nice to have • No prior Python backend experience required; willingness to contribute when needed • Must be based in Hungary, Poland, South Africa, Portugal, or Romania • Must provide working-rights information for the country of residence
